A: The Real Food Challenge is for anyone who wants to take a break from processed foods and artificial chemicals. It's for anyone who wants to eat healthier and feel better.

Q: Who Is Lyndsy Karrie?

A: Lyndsy is the founder of Real Yummy Food and the author of Keep It Real: The Introductory Guide to Shopping, Cooking, and Eating Real Food. She is a pioneer in the world of healing people with food. After being distressed by her son’s severe autism diagnosis she spent every waking hour researching and testing ways to help her son and family.

Her results from switching out the artificial and processed foods in her life for a real whole foods lifestyle was astonishing. After reversing her own clinical anxiety and depression, her son's autistic symptoms, daughter's Irritable Bowel Syndrome, and boyfriend's ADHD, she wrote a book to share her knowledge and easy-to-make, nutritious recipes to help others get to the root of their symptoms too.

Q: What kind of food can we eat on the challenge?

A: You can eat anything, as long as it's considered real. If you need a laboratory to make it, it's not considered real for the purpose of this challenge. You will get a comprehensive list of what is allowed and what isn't on Day 1. Allowed items are mostly fruits, vegetables, roots, herbs, fats and oils, wild and/or pasture-raised meats and eggs, wild fish, raw or sprouted nuts and seeds, and fermented foods. High-quality organic grains and raw organic, grass-fed dairy are optional as well.

Q: What kind of food can’t we eat on the challenge?

A: During the challenge, we refrain from processed foods, fast foods and most boxed foods that provide little to no nutritional value. We also refrain from harmful preservatives, artificial chemicals, genetically modified organisms, pesticides as much as possible, and added sugars.

Q: Does this diet cure cancer, autism or any other diseases?

A: First of all, this is not a diet. We don't like the word diet around here. After all, it has the word "die" in it. Secondly, NO, the Real Food Challenge does not claim to be able to cure anything and should NOT be used as a medical treatment or a replacement for your qualified doctors' instructions.

Q: Will I lose weight on this challenge?

A: The Real Food Challenge wasn't designed to be a weight loss program per se, but there's a very good chance that you will lose weight during the process if you follow the process and omit toxic and processed food.

Q: Do I need to start the challenge at a specific time?

A: No, you can start anytime you like. You have 60 full days to complete the challenge and to qualify for the $100 prize.

Q: What kind of help do you offer?

A: We offer 24/7 email support and have an entire community of other like-minded people to help you with any pressing need.
